About IWIGQMA2026
The International Workshop on Information Geometry, Quantum Mechanics and Applications
is part of a series of meetings on Quantum Mechanics and its applications that are held on a yearly basis. It is an international meeting devoted to the study of the mathematical foundations of Quantum Mechanics and its many applications, many of them instrumental in the emergent problems related to Quantum Information Theories and problems related to boeh classical and quantum field theory.
The aim of this workshop is to connect young researchers, both pre-doctoral and post-doctoral, with diverse problems lying at the foundations of Quantum Mechanics. These problems are transversal in nature, both for their mathematical structure and their physical implications. Topics include the unstoppable categorisation of the foundations of quantum information theory and field theories, the geometrisation of Quantum Mechanics, and other fundamental aspects of the discipline.
Main Topics
- Quantum Information, Geometry and Machine Learning
- Foundations of Quantum Mechanics and Applications
- Quantum Field Theories and Quantum Gravity
